Introduction

During the peak season of international chemical industry exhibitions in May, BEVS showcased its presence at two major events — the 2025 Saudi Arabia Coatings Show and the 22nd China Automotive Coatings and Finishing Annual Conference. By highlighting its innovations in AI technology and laboratory automation solutions, the company further advanced its global industrial strategy.

Saudi Arabia Coatings Show

From May 13 to 15, 2025, the Saudi Arabia Coatings Show — the largest and most influential professional coatings event in the Middle East — was successfully held at the Dhahran Expo Center in Dammam.

As a key platform for deepening cooperation between the Middle East and China in the chemical industry, the exhibition attracted 255 exhibitors and over 11,500 professional visitors from around the world.

BEVS showcased a portfolio of innovative AI-driven products and lab automation solutions, highlighting its leading expertise in coating technologies to both the Middle Eastern and global markets, and became one of the event’s focal points.

At this year’s exhibition, BEVS directly responded to the growing demand for automated testing technologies in the Middle Eastern market by showcasing its intelligent coating performance testing equipment and lab automation solutions.

A highlight at the booth was the company’s next-generation AI Viscometer. Featuring dual voice and touchscreen control, it provides lab technicians with a safe, efficient user experience while minimizing contamination risk. Its core technical specifications rival those of top-tier European and American brands, drawing strong interest from visitors across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and beyond.

The company also presented its intelligent robotic testing system tailored for the coatings industry. With high-throughput sample handling and an integrated lab management platform, the system gained the attention of leading industry players. Throughout the event, BEVS engaged with over 300 visitors and clients.

During the technical seminar held alongside the exhibition, Ivy, Manager of the International Trade Department at BEVS, delivered a keynote speech titled “Smart Digital, Quality Future”. In her presentation, she shared practical cases of applying AI technology in coating R&D, production, and quality control.

She remarked, “By applying machine learning to optimize coating formulations, we can predict performance outcomes and significantly improve sample preparation efficiency, effectively shortening the R&D cycle.”

Her forward-looking insights sparked lively discussions among industry professionals, with several international companies expressing strong interest in potential technical collaborations on the spot.

Highlights

Automotive Coatings Annual Conference – Chongqing

From May 14 to 16, BEVS domestic trade team made a strong appearance at the 22nd China Automotive Coatings and Finishing Annual Conference, showcasing a variety of AI-driven products. The focus was on coating and corrosion resistance testing solutions for emerging sectors such as new energy vehicles and rail transit.

This year’s conference brought together nearly 300 experts, researchers, and industry representatives from over 150 organizations. Discussions centered around the entire value chain of automotive coatings and finishing technologies.

Innovative Solutions and Future Directions

The implementation of increasingly stringent environmental regulations, coupled with intensifying competition in the automotive market, is driving the evolution of automotive coatings toward greener, more functional, and intelligent solutions. However, challenges such as outdated testing technologies, lack of standardized protocols, and high costs continue to hinder industry advancement.

一BEVS Solution

BEVS is addressing these bottlenecks through three key strategies:

1

Widespread Adoption of Intelligent Testing Equipment

BEVS has independently developed a range of intelligent testing instruments that integrate cutting-edge AI and machine vision technologies. Powered by the Chatgpt large model, these systems enable real-time data analysis and fully automate the entire process—from application and testing to analysis.

2

Standardization Reform

The company is actively promoting the shift in coating inspection standards from manual to automated processes, transitioning from the era of “a scraper in every hand” to a new paradigm where “everything can be measured.”

3

Industrial Chain Collaboration

By partnering with automotive manufacturers and universities, BEVS accelerates collaborative innovation across materials and testing, fostering coordinated development along the value chain.

Conclusion

With a dual-engine approach of intelligent testing and automation ecosystems, BEVS is leading the coatings industry in its transformation from experience-based practices to a new era driven by data.
